Great! Works like any other pan. Was able to seperate out fine flour gold with it. But like most pans, you want to scrub it with something course to remove the oils and slick surface. But good as any pan you can get anywhere!

How to use GoldMinner?
1) Preliminary Sorting with a Sieve
Sand and gravel taken from streams or rivers are first passed through the Gold Hunter Sieve. Large stones and unnecessary large pieces are filtered out at this stage. This provides cleaner and more efficient material for the pan.
2) Gold Separation with a Pan
The sieved sand is placed in the Gold Hunter Pan. When the pan is shaken in the water, the light sand and soil are washed away, while the heavy minerals and gold collect at the bottom of the pan and get stuck in the grooves.
3) Concentration
The pan process is repeated to reduce the amount of sand. A dense mixture of black sand and heavy minerals remains. At this stage, the gold particles become clearly visible.
4) Final Cleaning with a Magnet
The GoldFinder Magnet is used on the remaining concentrate. The magnetic black minerals are separated, while the gold, being non-magnetic, remains behind. Thus, the gold is revealed in its purest form.

How does it work?
The Gold Finder Pan works on the principle that gold is much heavier than sand and soil. When you shake the pan in water, the lighter sand and gravel drift away, while the heavier gold particles settle to the bottom of the pan and get trapped in special grooves. With repeated shaking, the sand decreases, the gold becomes more concentrated, and it becomes easily visible.
